Aspiring leadership and excellence at the national, regional, and international levels in the fields of medical education, scientific research, and community services. 

College Mission and Objectives:


The college strives to achieve pioneering and distinguished academic performance through graduating well-qualified physicians competent at the basic and clinical sciences, provide high quality medical services, and conduct scientific research in the framework of ethical values and traditions through following the best practices in global health and attainment the following objectives: 

  1. Achieve the college determined outcomes through a comprehensive systems based curriculum with adopting active self-learning strategies by utilizing international advanced concepts of medical education and scientific research.
  2. Develop the academic programs in accordance with the international standards of medical education programs and medical services to compete for international classifications.
  3. Improve educational, training, managerial and leadership skills of faculty and administrative staff.
  4. Provide a supportive environment of creativity through promoting scientific research and upgrading research capabilities with expansion of applied research production under ethical standards frames.
  5.  Activate participation, coordination, and integration between the college and the community through implementing health care programs that address the community health needs in prevention and treatment services.
  6. Establish scientific, cultural, and knowledge exchanging relationships with regional and international universities as well as connection with professional societies worldwide considering international health problems and health consequences of inequity and injustice in accordance with the Iraqi ethical and genuine values.
