The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific
Research seeks to build conscious, creative, scientific human beings, armed
with science and knowledge, who have ability to deal with the modern era
developments by building a higher
education future strategy that depends on the upgrading of properties and
commitment to qualitycreating a fertile environment for the construction of a
university student scientifically and
intellectually considering valuesenhancing the spirit of citizenship and
reaffirming its commitment to the cultural values of authenticity heritage of
our nation.
And at a
time, in which our Ministry formations witnessed and had a very big part in honourable
competition seeking to achieve qualitativeleap in educational services for
superiority and innovation to gain academic credit, our Al-Nahrain College of
Medicine and since its foundation, was the first in carrying the flag of Iraqi
upgrading learning system.Being a high edifice of knowledge, our college of
Medicine had:

Important leadership role that helped it held a high position among
other colleges of Al-Nahrain University inside Iraq and among equivalent
colleges outside Iraq.

Excellent professors and innovative students in all fields of essential
and clinical sciences whether in aspects of knowledge and skills, or in
scientific research and community services.
Our college has sought to make information and communication means
available for each student, instructor, and browser far away from monopolism in
order to:

benefit from these facilities and use them to participate in discussion
and get conclusion to enrich the scientific heritage of mankind.

make a college graduate, and
since the beginning of his/her scientific career, a member in this human book
in exchanging scientific information.
Our college is still proceed with a courage,
confidence and modern vision to keep pace with updates time, and scientific and
technical developments seeking to stay
at the forefront of educational institutions at all local and regional
levels accessing to the universality.
The first website of the college has been
created in 2010. It was a positive step that needed to refine and update. After
entrusting ones soul to Allah Glorified and Sublime be He, the efforts of the
good college staff led us to develop the web-site of Al-Nahrain College of
Medicine at the end of 2013. And these efforts worked for planning to upgrade
the web-site to be in the first place among other local, Arab and universal
ranking of colleges and universities to be suitable for the scientific and
academic role to show the decent image of the college. Moreover, these efforts are still available
to access the application of e-government in order to enhance the college
solidity, and ambition to gain a good grade in the universal ranking.
In conclusion, I would like to give my credit,
and appreciate everyone who participated and still working to rise the
scientific level of instructors, students and technical and administrative
