Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussain , and the presence of Iraqi expatriate surgeon and the accredited trainer of the College of Surgeons of America and the ATLS program, Prof. Dr. Fayez Tohma , the second course was held at the level of Iraq and the first in Baghdad to prepare trainers within the Atlas surgical program for doctors who received the (ATLS provider) certificate they were nominated to participate in ( instructor course ) . The course lasted for 16-17 / 7/2018 , it is in the process of building and developing the leading program in Iraq , its adoption as a national program for working in hospitals and seeking to develop emergency center approved by the College of Surgeons of America .
