The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq, Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussain, presided the periodic meeting of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq on Thursday, 21/2/2019, which was hosted by the Faculty of Medicine of Al-Nahrain, In presence of Dr. Ali Khairallah Al-Shaali, representative of the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges and Prof. Dr. Walid Al-Jawhar representative of scientific supervision and evaluation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as well as the presence of 24 Dean. During the meeting, they discussed the development of the work of the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges to make it from the universities of developed countries , put the processors to develop higher education structures and providing the appropriate teaching environment for students in medical colleges.
They also discussed the details of the application of the syllabus and the development of the scientific curricula of the medical colleges, also discuss the agenda of the Committee of experts on the scientific specialties of the English language curriculum for medical colleges for primary and higher studies.
