Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University Prof. Dr. Anees Khalil Nayel visited the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, UK.During this visit, he held a number of scientific meetings with the staff of the college by the dean of the college and his assistant for scientific affairs , during that the dean gave a detailed explanation of the Faculty of Medicine Al-Nahrain University and its academic and scientific method and its theoretical, practical and clinical curriculum in the preliminary and graduate studies. The other side gave a detailed description of the teaching system at the college where the medical faculty at Northumbria University twinned with the University of St. George's in Krinada in the United States. Then the dean toured the sections and branches of the College in addition to his visit to the advanced skills center. An initial memorandum was also signed , which included cooperation between the two colleges for the purpose of completing the twinning and accreditation requirements of the College.
