The program aims to achieve leadership and excellence
locally, regionally and globally in the field of medical education, scientific
research and community service. In addition to achieving sustainability and
leadership in the medical field regionally and globally.
Program message
The college seeks to achieve leadership and excellence in
academic performance by graduating competent doctors in basic and clinical
sciences who are qualified to provide high-quality health services and advance
scientific research within the scope of ethical values and traditions by
following the best global health practices and achieving the following goals:
- Achieving the college’s doctoral outcomes specified later through a comprehensive curriculum based on the body’s systems while adopting effective self-learning strategies using advanced international concepts in medical education and scientific research.
- Developing the college’s academic programs in accordance with international standards in its educational programs and medical services to compete on international classification lists.
- Developing the educational, training, administrative and
leadership skills of faculty members and administrators.
- Providing an environment supportive of creativity by encouraging scientific research and raising the efficiency of research capabilities, while ensuring the expansion of production of applied scientific research within the framework of ethical standards.
- Activating participation, coordination and integration between the college and the community through the application of health care programs to serve the needs of the community and provide health to its members, both preventive and curative.
- Establishing scientific, cultural and knowledge exchange relations with universities and regional and international professional organizations, especially in global health problems and health problems resulting from injustice and inequality among members of society, taking into account the specificity of our society and its inherent values.
3- Program objectives:
The program aims to provide society with
graduates armed with scientific, humanitarian and social skills and abilities,
and emphasizes academic sobriety that qualifies them to provide the best
medical services to society. The college also aims to apply international
standards of quality and accreditation to achieve global scientific
communication for graduates.
4- Program accreditation:
Conditional accreditation has
been obtained from the Iraqi National Accreditation Council upon achieving the
remaining accreditation standards, provided that completion is completed within
a period of time not exceeding two years from the date of issuance of the book
(5-24-2022).

8- Expected learning outcomes:
1. Preparing competent doctors
and scientists who possess the basic medical and scientific backgrounds in
addition to the clinical and research skills to practice their work by pursuing
the art, skills and ethics of the medical profession (A1 and B1).
2. Preparing doctors capable of providing immediate care in emergency rooms and ambulatory care services, able to choose diagnostic procedures, and prescribe treatment safely and professionally (B2).
3. Prepare doctors with
effective communication skills with patients, their families, the community and
colleagues from the knowledge and skills acquired in behavioral, psychiatry,
ethics, community medicine and promotion of health care sciences (A2 and B3).
4. Preparing doctors who are able to use medical information
effectively, document it accurately, process data correctly, and maintain its
confidentiality and privacy (A3 and B4
5.To prepare doctors who are able to pursue lifelong learning,
teach others, work well as a multi-tasking team member in a collaborative
spirit to ensure better healthcare services, able to work independently, and
ready for postgraduate studies in any branch of medicine (B5, C1 and C5) .

capable of applying scientific methods in conducting research, and possessing

who are decision-makers with leadership capabilities in society, loyal with
