A surgical team in the Neurosurgery Department at Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain Medical City, led by Consultant Dr. Ihsan Sobhi Al-Baldawi, a specialist in neurosurgery, performed a special type of surgery on a 40-year-old male patient. Dr. Al-Baldawi stated that the patient had been suffering from recurrent seizures. The patient was admitted to the consultation clinic, underwent the necessary tests, and the surgery was performed. The tumor was completely removed while preserving the brain tissue from any damage, and artificial meningeal membranes were used to replace the membranes that were removed along with the tumor. The operation lasted five continuous hours, and the patient was discharged from the hospital on the third day after the surgery in very good health, thanks to God.
