The Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Anees Khalil Nail, received in his office the delegation of the College of Medicine following their active participation in the 11th International Conference on Public Health held in Thailand. During the meeting, the head of the delegation presented the Academic Partnership Shield of the conference to the Dean in the presence of several members of the academic delegation. The Dean praised the outstanding efforts made by the divisions of Cultural Relations, Media and Government Communication, and Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation, affirming that this participation represents an important step in the College’s path toward international academic openness. He also directed to provide financial support to the participating students, grant monetary awards to distinguished students, and issue certificates of appreciation and letters of thanks in recognition of their contributions. Furthermore, the Dean called upon the faculty members and both postgraduate and undergraduate students to prepare for and actively participate in the 12th International Conference on Public Health, scheduled to be held in Bali, Indonesia, in 2026, where the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University will serve as a principal academic partner. These initiatives come as part of the College’s continuous pursuit to strengthen its presence in international academic forums, support the requirements of international accreditation, and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 4 (Quality Education), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). This reflects the College’s distinguished status and leadership in serving the community and advancing medical education and research.
