As part of supporting scientific research and strengthening the presence of Iraqi academic expertise in international forums, Prof. Dr. Moataz Abdul-Majid Al-Qazzaz, Head of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, participated in the 6th International Conference of Forensic Medicine, held in Cairo, Egypt, from September 29 to 30, 2025, under the theme Forensic Medical Sciences and Artificial Intelligence. He presented a scientific paper entitled: “Fatal Methamphetamine Poisoning (Forensic Case Presentation)” as a Keynote Speaker in one of the sessions he chaired. The conference witnessed wide participation of researchers and scientists from various Arab and foreign countries in the fields of forensic medicine and smart technologies. Dr. Al-Qazzaz stressed that such participations highlight the importance of scientific communication and knowledge exchange, which contribute to developing academic and professional performance and enhancing the position of Iraqi forensic medicine on the international map.
