Medical Education Unit Meeting with Outstanding Students to Discuss Clinical Training Challenges and Skill Development

As part of the vision of the Medical Education and Curriculum Development Unit for the current academic year—which aims to enhance students’ role as active partners in developing the teaching and learning process, and to encourage self-directed and independent learning—a meeting was held between the Head of the Unit, Assistant Professor Dr. Bassam Mohammed Hameed, and the Unit Rapporteur, Assistant Professor Dr. Lama Kareem, with a group of distinguished students from various stages of study. The meeting included discussions on several important points and challenges faced by students during clinical training, as well as identifying the skills they need to develop in order to improve their practical and applied performance.

This meeting comes within the Unit’s ongoing efforts to engage students in improving the learning environment and achieving the goals of effective and sustainable medical education.
