As part of its regular council sessions, the College of Medicine held its ninth session, during which a ceremony was organized to honor the professors whose appointments have ended. The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the professors for their efforts and significant contributions to the development of the educational and research processes within the college. In his speech, the Dean congratulated the honored professors for their dedication throughout their tenure, praising their ability to enhance academic education and achieve excellence in various fields. He also wished them success in their future endeavors, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration among all faculty members to elevate the college's standards.

The session also covered several topics related to the improvement of the educational process, as well as the discussion of future work plans to ensure the continuity of success and progress in the college.

The following were honored:

  1. Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Ali Sahib, Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, for the conclusion of his appointment as the department head.

  2. Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdulhussein Abbas, Head of the Examination Committee, for the conclusion of his appointment as the committee head.

  3. Senior Director Nawal Mahdi Khalaf, Secretary of the Department of Physiology, for her retirement upon reaching the legal retirement age.
