**"Study the Levels of Serum Apelin-13 and Pentraxin-3 in Type 2 Diabetes Patients with and without Nephropathy."**

The primary aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the levels of Apelin-13 and Pentraxin-3 in individuals diagnosed with diabetic nephropathy and in a control group. The study sought to explore the potential of using Apelin-13 and Pentraxin-3 as biomarkers for the early prediction and diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy.

When measuring Apelin-13 across the four groups, there was no significant difference between the group with diabetic nephropathy (p=0.326). However, there was a highly significant difference between healthy individuals and those with type 2 diabetes (p- Prof. Dr. Mohammed Imran Hamza – Chair
