The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held a counseling seminar titled

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, and as part of the International Day for the Fight against Violent Extremism campaign, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Medicine held a counseling seminar titled "Intellectual Extremism and Societal Security," presented by the unit head, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Nasser Mohsen, on February 5, 2025.

The seminar included a definition of extremism and its types, including intellectual extremism, and its impact on the individual, family, and society. It also aimed to raise students' awareness of extremism and discussed how to combat it, as well as address its causes and consequences.
