An in-person workshop on the role of faculty members in global rankings.

Under the patronage and presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, and within the framework of collaboration with prestigious academic institutions, the Quality Assurance Division, in cooperation with the College of Business Economics, organized an in-person workshop as part of the Continuous Education Unit's activities. The workshop focused on the role of faculty members in global rankings.

Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Majid, Head of the Quality Assurance Division, and Dr. Mai Fadhil, the Division’s Rapporteur, discussed in detail the mechanism and requirements for entering the Shanghai Ranking. This was followed by discussions with the faculty members and the honorable Dean.

In the second part of the workshop, Assistant Lecturer Sinar Mohammed, a faculty member at the College of Business Economics, and Dr. Lama Kareem, Head of the Global Rankings Unit, presented a comprehensive overview of applied research and the process of uploading it to the platform, emphasizing its importance in serving science and society. This collaboration is considered a promising step towards international accreditation and sustainable academic partnerships.
