and as part of the International Day for the Fight Against Violent Extremism campaign, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Medicine held a guidance seminar titled "Intellectual Extremism and Community Security." The seminar was presented by the unit’s head, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Nasser Mohsen, on February 5, 2025. The seminar covered the definition of extremism and its types, including intellectual extremism, its impact on individuals, families, and society, raising student awareness of it, and how to confront and address its causes and consequences.
