**"Plagiarism: What is it? And How to Avoid It"**

The lecturer highlighted that scientific plagiarism involves using ideas, texts, or data from others' work without proper attribution, which constitutes a violation of academic research ethics. Plagiarism is considered unethical behavior and can lead to severe consequences, such as the loss of academic credentials or legal issues. Moreover, cases of plagiarism can result in loss of academic credibility, sanctions from educational institutions, and negative impacts on future career prospects.

The workshop was attended by several researchers, postgraduate students from various colleges of Al-Nahrain University and other universities, as well as esteemed faculty members.
