On Sunday, September 1, 2024, the Master’s thesis defense of *Hussein Hadi Saeed* from the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics took place. His thesis is titled:
**"Use of Pseudo-Perception for Reducing the Inaccuracy and Increasing Efficiency of Long Surgical Devices."**

### Objective:
This research aimed to utilize the pseudo-perception feature in MATLAB to reduce the impact of surgeon tremors on the accuracy and efficiency of long surgical instruments used in laparoscopic surgery. The study concluded that the pseudo-perception method significantly reduced time consumption and the likelihood of failed trials. It also received higher ratings for ease of operation, accuracy, and faster usage.
