The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held a seminar titled

Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College and as part of the national strategy to combat violent extremism leading to terrorism, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Medicine held a seminar titled "The Dangers of Extremism on Intellectual Security." The seminar was presented by the unit's head, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Nasser Mohsen, in the main hall of the college to a group of students on October 24, 2024. During the seminar, topics discussed included the definition of extremism, its types, the causes leading to it, and ways to combat this phenomenon and address its effects and consequences.
