**Guidance Lecture at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine on Electronic Addiction and Its Impact on Mental and Social Health**

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine / Al-Nahrain University (Prof. Dr. Anis Khalil Nael), and as part of the annual program of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, a guidance lecture entitled 

"Electronic Addiction: Causes, Consequences, and Ways to Overcome It" 

was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The lecture was delivered by Lecturer Thanaa Hindi Saleh, a member of the Counseling Unit, and focused on shedding light on the phenomenon of electronic addiction, which is widespread among various segments of society. It addressed its negative impact on mental and social health and discussed proper methods for dealing with this issue. The lecture also emphasized the importance of investing time in sports and social activities that enhance mental health and behavioral balance.

This event is part of a series of awareness activities aimed at creating a healthy and safe university environment for students.
