Master’s Thesis Discussion on the Effect of PRP on Rabbit Ovaries at the Department of Human Anatomy

“HISTOMORPHOMETRIC CHANGES in RABBIT OVARIAN TISSUE FOLLOWING PRP PLATELET RICH PLASMA ADMINISTRATION.”

The results showed a significant increase in the number of primordial and mature follicles, follicular diameter, granulosa cell layer thickness, as well as the thickness of both the theca interna and externa layers in the treated groups compared to the control group. Moreover, a higher number of myoepithelial cells were observed in the treated groups, which may play a role in the physiology of ovulation.
