The Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine Council holds its regular meeting under the patronage of the Head of the Department.

Under the patronage of the Head of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, Professor Dr. Moataz Abdul Majeed, the department council held its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM. The meeting began with a warm welcome to Professor Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussein, Head of the Scientific Council of Pathology at the Iraqi Board and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine. Additionally, the department faculty members were greeted, and congratulations were extended to them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and the blessed nights of Qadr.

The meeting discussed several important topics, with the department head presenting the latest instructions and directives from the college council. Emphasis was placed on the importance of fostering a parental relationship between faculty members and students, activating academic counseling, and setting mid-term exam questions according to required academic standards. The exam date was set, and the faculty members’ views were discussed regarding the performance evaluation form and its suitability for faculty members working in the medical field.

This meeting is part of the department’s commitment to advancing the educational process and enhancing communication among faculty members to ensure the highest standards of academic quality are achieved.
