The College of Medicine Actively Participates in the 22nd Al-Ashiqaa International Festival

Under the patronage and guidance of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Anees Khalil Nail, the College of Medicine—Student Activities Division participated in the 22nd Al-Ashiqaa International Festival for Hobbies and Crafts, held at the Baghdad International Railway Station from December 3 to 6, 2025. This participation came as part of the Dean’s support for students’ extracurricular activities and his encouragement of their creative initiatives, contributing to the preparation of an ambitious generation capable of innovation and active engagement within society. The College of Medicine presented a selection of artistic and intellectual displays that reflected a bright image of the college and its academic environment. These included fine arts, handicrafts, photography, public speaking, drawing, poetry, and musical arts. The college’s contributions received praise from the preparatory committee and festival attendees for their quality, diversity, and creativity. The festival witnessed wide participation from state ministries, universities, and civil society organizations, emphasizing the importance of such events in supporting students’ cultural and artistic talents and in enhancing their presence in national forums that provide a platform to showcase their skills and develop their creative abilities.
