Radiomorphometric changes of the mandibular indices among adult males suffering from type II diabetes in correlation with body mass  index.”

The results showed a significant decrease in certain bone indices among diabetic patients, while a positive correlation was found between higher BMI and mandibular bone health. This indicates that radiographic assessment of the mandible can serve as a supportive tool for the early detection of bone changes associated with diabetes.
