**Future Doctors for Sustainable Development Team Launches Environmental and Awareness Campaigns at the College and Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain (AS) Medical City Hospital**
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Anees Khalil Nael, and in cooperation with the Global Rankings Unit and the Student Activities Division, the “Future Doctors for Sustainable Development” team launched a series of purposeful voluntary and awareness campaigns. These initiatives aim to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhance students' role in serving the community.
The team began its activities with a planting and afforestation campaign within the college premises, contributing to environmental protection, climate action, and the development of sustainable infrastructure, in alignment with the environmental goals of sustainable development. The team also visited Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain (AS) Medical City Hospital, where they carried out a handwashing and personal hygiene awareness campaign in the pediatric ward. In addition, educational toys and gifts were distributed to help instill hygiene and health protection concepts among children.
