Under patronage of the Dean of the Collage of Medicine professor Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussein ,a painting exhibition was opened at the student's club in the collage on Tuesday, 11.11.2014. The exhibition was attended by Al-Nahrain University President assistant Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh who expressed his admiration for the exhibition, which included the most prominent artistic productions of students’ painters and their mastery of this talent, which is added to the scientific effort they exert in studying medicine. AlsoProf. Dr. Iyad Murad praised the role of the Deanship of the college to offer a lot of activities in the scientific, artistic and sport fields and various types of additives activities to the medical field, where the college was considered one of the most important of the colleges of University of Al-Nahrain. On the other hand the artistic work have expressed the creativity of medical student where his peculiarity and identity converge with art and drawing to produce wonderful work through paintings dealing with nature and life concepts that dive reaching depth.

When we asked one painter specialised in drawing faces that there is an idea prevails the artistic community thatfacepainters are artists from the second class, a studentpainter(Yousif Badee)repliedthat "the art of painting itself is a talent of first-class" ,and that was what we felt through his work , where we found the oppositeprevailingbelief ; he was creative in the embodiment of facial features and clarity of meaning, which made him won the admiration of many visitors to the exhibition.
