Meeting of the President of Al-Nahrain University with the teaching staff members at Al-Kathimiya Compound…… Media Unit

For overcoming obstacles, the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Nabeel Kathim AbdulSahib met the Deans of the Colleges, Heads of Colleges’ Boards, and Heads of departments of Al-Nahrain University.at Al-Kathimiya Compound, which included the College of Medicine /Al-Nahrain University, College of Pharmacy / Al-Nahrain University, College of Law / Al-Nahrain University, and the Higher Institute for diagnosis of infertility and assisted reproduction techniques / Al-Nahrain University. The meeting was to talk about the axis of under -and- post graduate students, in addition to the financial and administrative sides. They listened to the most important observations and problems to which some professor requirements face, including the following topics: 1. Publication in international journals 2. Scientific promotions 3. Delegations 4. Infrastructure 5. Hosting and transport of students 6. Hot spots 7. Capacity 8. Acceptance rate in universities 9. Participation in research and pilot projects For the consolidation of scientific and academic process and according to those who are involved here, they need such meetings with the President of Al-Nahrain University to display insolvable stuffs and acquaint closely to find effective solutions. The dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussein expressed in brief words about the meeting subject saying that, “the answers of the President of Al-Nahrain University were very thorough in which he explained many features related to these axes which in fact flow together with the communication with the President of Al-Nahrain University, and other colleges to upgrade the scientific and academic level of Iraqi Universities including the prestigious University of Al-Nahrain. The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assis. Prof. Dr. Adeeb Ahmad Al- Zubaidi and the Dean of the Higher Institute for the diagnosis of infertility and assisted reproduction techniques, Assis. Prof. Dr. Ola Mohamed and Dr. Dean of the College of Law, L. Dr. Ali Hadi Attiya. At the end of the meeting the President of Al-Nahrain University offered several immediate solutions and ordered to form a committee to find solutions and recommendations on the other hand.
