**College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University Organizes a Scientific Visit for First-Year Students to Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain (A.S.) Medical City Hospital**

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College organized a scientific visit for first-year students to Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain (A.S.) Medical City Hospital. The visit included a meeting with a number of physicians, during which a detailed explanation was provided on the mechanism of a physician’s work within healthcare institutions, the principles of the professional relationship between doctor and patient, as well as an introduction to the proper use of medical terminology and the methods of interaction with various medical staff. This visit came within the framework of enhancing students’ practical and cognitive skills and linking theoretical study with practical application, contributing to their scientific and professional preparation from the early stages of their academic journey. The visit was supervised by Lecturer Thanaa Hindi Salih, a member of the University Psychological Counseling Unit, and accompanied by Dr. Noor Kazem from the Department of Anatomy.
