A scientific seminar at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine on illegal migration, its causes, and ways to reduce it

Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college organized a scientific seminar entitled:

"Migration and Illegal Migration: Causes and Remedies"

The seminar was held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, and was presented by Professor Dr. Thanaa Rashid Abdul Rahman. The seminar addressed the negative impacts of illegal migration and the severe consequences resulting from it. It also discussed the root causes of this phenomenon and the challenges faced by illegal migrants, while presenting possible solutions to mitigate it. The seminar emphasized the importance of strengthening national identity among the youth, urging them to remain committed to their country and work towards serving it instead of resorting to illegal migration and its associated risks.
