As part of its ongoing efforts toward global academic openness and enhancing its position in international rankings, the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University is participating as an academic partner in the 11th International Conference on Public Health (ICOPH 2025), organized by TIIKM. The conference will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 6 to 9, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and experts from around the world. In preparation for the event, numerous virtual and in-person meetings were held with academic partners worldwide to coordinate participation mechanisms, promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and encourage the involvement of students and faculty members. These efforts aim to ensure the successful representation of our college at this significant international forum and to highlight its outstanding achievements. The college's delegation includes several faculty members and students who will present research papers and engage in valuable workshops, either in person or via online platforms. The participation is closely followed and supported by Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, who is keen to ensure the college’s active involvement across all conference activities. This year’s conference is held under the theme: "Redefining Public Health: Harnessing Innovation, Collaboration, and Equity to Build Resilient Public Health Systems," aligning with the college’s vision of supporting sustainable health development and contributing to global health challenges.

This participation also underscores the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University's commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:
