The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University organizes a tree planting campaign on the occasion of National Tree Planting Day.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, the college organized an extensive tree planting campaign in celebration of National Tree Planting Day. The campaign included planting several saplings in the vacant spaces of the internal garden adjacent to the college’s mosque, in addition to greening the areas of Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain (AS) Medical City and several corridors and spaces inside the college. The campaign was participated in by the Dean of the College, along with a group of faculty members, staff, and students of the college. The college also sent a collection of plants to the Agricultural Division at the University Presidency in support of this initiative.

This campaign also reaffirms the importance of increasing green spaces and enhancing environmental awareness within the university campus and its surrounding areas.
