A Scientific Visit for Biochemistry Students to Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain Medical City
As part of the college’s efforts to enhance the practical aspect and link academic study with real-world applications, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry organized a field visit to Al-Imamain Medical City for postgraduate students as part of the requirements of the practical course.
The visit aimed to acquaint students with the applied aspects of laboratory work and analytical units within the hospital, contributing to reinforcing the theoretical concepts they learn in lectures by observing them in practice. The visit included a tour of several specialized departments in medical and chemical analyses, where students learned about the nature of the work, the equipment used, and the scientific standards adopted in conducting tests. This visit comes within the framework of the department’s ongoing scientific activities aimed at developing students’ skills and preparing them professionally and academically in line with the requirements of the labor market.
