On the Occasion of Victory Day

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

On Victory Day, we proudly remember the sacrifices of the sons of Iraq who liberated the homeland from the terrorist organization ISIS and achieved an enduring victory that restored the nation’s security and sovereignty. They embodied the finest examples of courage and national unity. On this occasion, we extend our salute and appreciation to our security forces of all formations, to our righteous martyrs, and to our heroic wounded. We also reaffirm the continued commitment of the College of Medicine to its scientific and humanitarian mission in serving our beloved country and in shaping a generation of distinguished physicians. May Allah have mercy on our martyrs, and may He protect Iraq and its honorable people.
