Scientific Visit to the Baghdad International Fair

As part of its ongoing scientific activities aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge and expertise, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the College of Medicine organized a field visit to the Baghdad International Fair with the participation of a number of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The visit was designed to provide students with exposure to the latest advancements introduced by local and international companies in scientific, industrial, and technological fields, thereby bridging the gap between the theoretical knowledge gained in classrooms and its practical applications in real-world settings. The visit also aimed to broaden students’ research perspectives, encourage them to embrace innovative ideas, and keep up with developments that could support their future academic and professional journeys.

The event witnessed active engagement from the students, who expressed great interest in the showcased products, concepts, and technologies, emphasizing the importance of such visits in enriching their scientific experience and inspiring them towards research and innovation.
