The Department of Pharmacology organizes a voluntary activity to raise awareness about literacy at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine.

The Department of Pharmacology at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Unit, organized a voluntary awareness activity on literacy and eradicating ignorance today, Thursday, March 6, 2025. Participating in the event were Assistant Professor Dr. Farah Rasool Jaafar and Assistant Lecturer Nihal Ramadan Hweraf, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Lama Kareem, along with contributions from several third-year students. The activity included a simplified lecture for the college workers on the importance of education, as well as the distribution of motivational stationery, in support of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).

This activity is part of the college’s efforts to raise awareness of the importance of education and empower individuals to acquire basic skills, contributing to building a more knowledgeable and informed society.
