Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Organizes a Specialized Training Conference on Joint Surgery and Knee Replacement with the Participation of a Distinguished Group of Local and Arab Physicians
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, the college organized a specialized training conference on "Deformity Correction and Knee Replacement" from April 8 to 10, 2025. The event was held in the college’s conference hall and witnessed broad participation from orthopedic surgeons specializing in joint and knee replacement surgery.
The conference was attended by the Dean of the College, along with several faculty members and postgraduate students from the Iraqi and Arab Boards of Orthopedic Surgery. It also featured the participation of physicians and academics from outside the college.
The conference included training sessions and scientific lectures focusing on the latest advancements in joint surgery and knee replacement. It emphasized the importance of continuous clinical medical education in enhancing professional and technical skills, as well as the value of scientific collaboration with physicians and faculty from other universities and medical institutions.
At the conclusion of the event, participants stressed the need for the continued organization of such scientific activities, which contribute to the development of medical competencies and the exchange of expertise, ultimately aiming to advance the healthcare and scientific landscape in Iraq and the region.
