The discussion of Iraqi Board students for the General Surgery Council, attended by the university leadership and the Iraqi Board Council.

On Monday, March 17, 2025, the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University hosted discussions for the Iraqi Board students in General Surgery - Fifth Stage. The event was attended by the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, the President of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations, Prof. Dr. Haidar Abdul Hussein Ahmed, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, along with a distinguished group of professors specializing in general surgery.

The session featured in-depth scientific discussions, where students presented the latest research and scientific developments in the field of general surgery, focusing on clinical and practical aspects. The participation of the professors played a significant role in enriching the discussions and guiding students to enhance their research and scientific skills.

This event is part of the College of Medicine’s efforts to support the academic journey of Iraqi Board students and enhance the level of scientific research and clinical training in surgical specialties.
