Iraqi Red Crescent Assembly distributes participation certificates to personnel of the college of Medicine in the workshop of the first aid ….Media Unit

With the presence of the Dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussein, the ceremony of distribution of participation certificates in the workshop specialized in first aids, and with collaboration with the Red Crescent Society/ Al-Kathimiya Branch on Tuesday, 23/12/2014 at the maim hall of the college.

The ceremony began with speech of gratitude and appreciation presented by the representative of the Assembly, Mr. Ahmed Majeed to the Dean of the college for ongoing care for such activities. Then, Mr. Ahmed Majid offered thanks letters to the Dean, Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussein, the assistant dean of scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Farqad Bader Hamdan, and the assistant dean of administrative affairs, Assis. Prof. Dr. AbdulKareem Hameed Abed.

After that, the representative of the assembly presented the rest of the certificates to the participants in the workshop first aid which was held on 8-11/9/2014.the number of trainees is 41, while lectures included methods about first aid and some cases treatment such as (burns, fractures, choking, shock, bleeding, loss of consciousness) and how to provide psychological support and first aid to the injured, to classify the kind of injury and to know the right way of injured transportation.
