A number of teaching staff members of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine participated in the First World Medical Conference at the College of Medicine /University of Babylon

For gaining medical education that keeps pace with the requirements of Iraqi community, a number of teaching staff members participated in the First International Conference of medical education at Babylon College of Medicine on Sunday 15.2.2015with the presence of the following People:                                                                                                                                                                         Representative of the Ministry of the Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Fuad Qasim.                                                               The President of Babylon University, Prof. Dr. Adel Hadi Al-Baghdadi.                                                                                                                 A Parliament member, Dr. Hanan Al- Fatlawi.                                                                                                                                                       Babylon Governor and the Head of Babylon Government Council.                                                                                                                       Presidents of Al-Muthanna and Al-Qasim Green University.                                                                                                                                 The General Director of Babylon Health directorate.                                                                                                                                            Many professors and physician from Baghdad and all other governments.

The Conference lasted two days including several items, beginning with the Speech of the Head of Babylon Government Council, Raad Hamza Al-Alwan, in which he noted that the province of Babylonhas a great scientific and civilized history and Babylonian people have inherited the profession of medicine and other specialties from their Babyloniangrandparents, which is supported by the clay tablets in the Babylonian museum which are about 800 claysof mud distress about medicine and Pharmacy.

The conference also included the exhibition of medicalbooks andexhibition of internationalpharmaceutical companies, including SwissAsino, German Racia, Naktalia, Al-Ghadeer, Al-Maarifaand holy AL- Ataba Al-Huseiniya and Al-Abasiya. Moreover, there was a participation of Al-Nahrain publications including medicaland scientific journalsand magazines in this exhibition.
