The College Organizes an Awareness Lecture on Bullying, Its Causes, and Ways of Treatment

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, and within the activities of the University Psychological Counseling Unit, an awareness lecture was held by Prof. Dr. Thanaa Rasheed Abdulrahman titled:

“Bullying: Its Causes, Types, and Ways of Treatment.”

The lecture targeted a group of college students and addressed the concept of bullying and its different forms — verbal, physical, and cyberbullying. It also discussed the psychological and social factors that lead to the emergence of this behavior among individuals. Furthermore, the lecture highlighted the psychological and behavioral effects experienced by victims of bullying and emphasized the importance of providing psychological and social support to those affected, in order to promote a safe and healthy university environment. This activity comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to raise psychological and social awareness among students and to strengthen the values of respect, tolerance, and positive interaction within the university community.
