**The Dean’s Office at Al-Nahrain University’s College of Medicine Welcomes Its New Students**

The Dean’s Office at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, welcomed first-year students in an introductory orientation session attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Anis Khalil Nail, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Students, and Postgraduate Studies, Asst. Prof. Ammar Mousa Al-Musawi, and the Head of the Students Affairs and Registration Division, Lecturer Lamiaa Hadi Mohammed. The session began with a welcoming speech from the Dean, in which he emphasized the importance of acquiring skills, knowledge, and continuous learning as the foundation for academic and professional success. He also highlighted the need to adhere to the academic system and the Student Discipline Regulations. He stressed that the doors of the Dean’s Office, the Associate Dean, and the Registration Division are always open to support students and respond to their inquiries, underscoring their role as ambassadors of the College and the importance of preserving its reputation while embodying leadership and responsibility in the future. In his remarks, the Associate Dean explained that the journey of medicine is both scientific and humanitarian, requiring commitment to noble values and adherence to the guidance of the teaching staff. The Head of the Registration Division provided a detailed explanation of the attendance and absence system, as well as the theoretical and practical examinations. She emphasized the necessity of adhering to the unified and modest dress code and respecting the instructions of the faculty members, affirming the division’s full readiness to cooperate with the students to facilitate their educational journey.
