Al-Nahrain College of Medicine in Holy Karbala for the adherence of Zainab (peace be upon her)

From the city of martyrs, the Holy Karbala and through the days of the month of Safarو and the memory of the captives entry of the Prophet Mohammed’s family - the Messenger of Allah- (PBUH) to Al-Sham.

The Deanery of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine accepted the invitation of the General Secretariat of Al- Husseiniya Sacred Shrine to participate in the third annual festival, for supporting Al-Hawraa Zainab (P), which was held on Thursday, 27th /11/2014 at Al- Husseiniya Sacred Shrine, where he launched the processions of mourners from professors and employees and students of the College of Medicine in Al- Kathimiya heading to the Holy City of Karbala to share condolences with delegations clerics and scholars, intellectual and cultural figures.

Initially, delegation did the decrees of the visit and prayed at the Master of martyrs to lift the gloom of this nation. Then, college delegation attended the festival hall where Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghani Hussein, the dean of the college, participated with a valuable speech presenting his solace to the great clerics and Islamic nation for the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hussein (P), , and the support of the martyr Zainab(P), the daughter of Ali Ibn Abi Talib(P)

At the end of the festival, the Dean made a covenant and loyalty to follow each prophecy house approach and the support Al- Hussein revolution against oppression and oppressors. Peace be upon Al-Hawraa Zainab on the day of her birth, and on the days of her life with the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) , and peace will be upon her on the day she is raised up to life again.
