Psychological health concepts course

Within the ongoing activities of the Division of Psychiatry ,and with supervision of Prof. Dr. (Alaa Ghani Hussein Mubarak) Dean of the College, the special course of the concepts of psychological health was held for the period from 28/9/2014 up to 10/02/2014 within the project of introducing some concepts of psychological health in the collegecurriculumwhich aims to support teachingstaffin this aspect, and was dedicated to them, especially those work in paediatrics ,obstetrics and gynaecology, family and community medicinebranches.A number of teaching staff from other branches attended the course to take advantage of the program. The college praised the distinctive attendance and good care by lecturers who were the National Adviser for Psychological Health Dr. Imad Abdul-Razzaq and the director of psychiatric Division of Primary Health Care branch in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Iyad Nuri Fattah. Lectures that support the psychological aspect were given, and there was a constructive dialogue and fruitful discussions between lecturers ,professors, and doctors in our collage that provide suggestions and recommendations that contribute to the building of an intact healthy and psychological environment among all classes of society. The lecturers came out with some suggestions addressed to the concerned authorities for the purpose of improving the quality of health services provided to patients.
