Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, We are pleased to invite you to attend the activities of the Medical Education and Sustainable Development Day held under the slogan:
“Towards an Effective and Sustainable Medical Education.”
Event Objectives:
Promoting innovation in medical education through the principle of “teaching the teacher to empower the learner.”
Building sustainable partnerships between the college, governmental institutions, and non-governmental organizations.
Enabling students to actively participate in green and sustainable medical education.
Main Activities:
Launching training courses and workshops on medical education and curriculum development towards sustainability.
Collaboration with the Together for Human and Environmental Protection Association.
Highlighting the college’s participation in the Public Health Conference in Thailand.
Launching a tree-planting campaign within the college in cooperation with the Sumur Organization.
Launching a large-scale volunteer campaign in cooperation with the Ain Foundation.
Launching a food recycling campaign and distributing nutritious meals as part of the Zero Hunger Initiative.
