An Inspection Tour by the Dean of the College to Oversee the Final Clinical Examinations
As part of the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University's commitment to ensuring the quality of medical education and applying academic standards in evaluating students' clinical skills, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, conducted an inspection visit to monitor the final clinical examinations of sixth-year students. These exams were held at the Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain (peace be upon them) Medical City across various subjects.
During the tour, the Dean reviewed the students' performance at the clinical stations and examined the mechanisms of exam organization and the extent to which a proper testing environment had been provided. He also followed up on the progress of the surgical OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination), which was conducted at the College. This exam is one of the established methods for assessing students' clinical competencies through precisely designed practical stations. His Excellency expressed his satisfaction with the smooth organization and the commitment of the examination and academic committees, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the educational and medical process by supporting and developing the clinical examination system in accordance with established scientific standards.
