A training workshop held by the Human Rights Unit entitled "Teamwork and Project Management".
Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, and as part of the ongoing activities of the Human Rights Unit, a training workshop was held entitled:
"Teamwork and Project Management"
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Zuhair Kamel Al-Ghuraybawi, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the college. It covered several key topics, including: the concept and types of work, references to work in the Holy Qur’an and noble Prophetic traditions, and the importance of work for individuals and society, as well as its role in nation-building.
The workshop also focused on teamwork, highlighting its characteristics—both strengths and challenges—and its significance in ensuring project success and enhancing institutional performance. Furthermore, the session addressed the fundamentals of project management and the key elements contributing to successful outcomes. Dr. Al-Ghuraybawi provided practical training examples on types of group projects and how to manage them effectively. The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees, with rich discussions about teamwork within the college, giving the session a dynamic and hands-on atmosphere. At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Zuhair expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the participants for their involvement and interaction, emphasizing that project management is not just a skill but a lifestyle—one based on mental organization and professionalism in achieving goals, whether in work or study.
