Lecture about self-assessment of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine to improve the quality and performance .............. Media Unit

Within the activities of the Quality Assurance Section of the College of Medicine /Al-Nahrain University, aspecial meeting was held on Sunday; 21/12/2014 for discussing the process of self-assessmentof the college, and this is within the plans of Al-Nahrain University to improve performance quality. The meeting was attended by the Head of Quality Assurance Department at Al-Nahrain University, Dr. Muthafar Jawad Al-Ta’ ie, The Head ofQuality Assurance Branch at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine, Assis. Prof. Dr. Amal Sweidan, as well as members of Quality and Academic Accreditation.

Self-assessment process is considered as an essential step on the way to assurance of educational programs quality and educational process as a whole. The credence guidebook of assurance quality has been adopted in colleges of Arab universities issued by the Arab Universities Union in Amman/ Jordan to make self- assessment and write reports depending on its standards and recommendations.
