Workshop on Using Microsoft Word in Thesis Writing

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Anees Khalil Nael, the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine held a free workshop in the department’s hall, as part of the Continuing Education Center’s activities, titled:

“Practical Tips on How to Use Microsoft Word in Thesis Writing.”

The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Khairallah Mahdi, a faculty member in the Department of Pathology. It included a detailed explanation of the most important skills and tools that help postgraduate students format their theses professionally, organize paragraphs, tables, figures, and references. The session also featured practical demonstrations and an exchange of experiences among participants on common formatting mistakes and effective ways to avoid them. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ and researchers’ skills in using modern technologies, contributing to improving the quality of scientific output at the College.
