**The Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University’s Address on the Occasion of the New Year 2026**

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

My sons and daughters, students of the College of Medicine, My colleagues among faculty members and staff, On the occasion of the advent of the New Gregorian Year, I am pleased to extend to you all my sincerest congratulations and best wishes. I hope that the new year will be one filled with giving, success, and scientific and academic progress.

The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University will continue, in the coming year, its well-established academic journey in medical education, scientific research, and community service, guided by the values of commitment, responsibility, quality, and innovation. Through your sincere efforts and continuous cooperation, we will move forward steadily toward achieving our goals of graduating competent physicians who contribute to improving the health sector and serving our beloved country.

I call upon our dear students to make this year a new milestone for perseverance, academic excellence, and the building of both professional and humanitarian character. I also highly appreciate the efforts of our faculty members and staff for their diligence and dedication in performing their duties.

I ask Almighty Allah to make the new year one of health, safety, and success for you all, and to sustain the path of progress and prosperity for our College and our University.
