Al-Nahrain College of Medicine Holds an Awareness Seminar on Enhancing National Security and the Role of Students in Strengthening National Belonging

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, and within the framework of the National Security Strategy (Iraq First), an awareness seminar entitled :

“Enhancing National Security is Everyone’s Responsibility” 

was held at the College. The seminar was presented by the Head of the University Psychological Counseling Unit, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Nasser Mohsen, and discussed the role of intellectuals and students in supporting national security through adopting sound thinking, proper understanding of religious texts, and presenting a positive model of the university student based on tolerance, forgiveness, acceptance of others, and rejection of all forms of extremism. The seminar also emphasized the active role of youth and university students in strengthening the spirit of national belonging through cultural activities and events that contribute to building awareness and consolidating national values.
