**Participation of Faculty Members from the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University in the WFME Standards Course for International Accreditation of Postgraduate Studies**

The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University participated, represented by its faculty members (Lecturer Dr. Rafah Mohammed Jaafar Al-Khateeb) from the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine and (Lecturer Dr. Samah Abbas) from the Department of Surgery, in the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Standards Course, which was held at the College of Medicine, Ashur University, with the participation of all medical colleges in Iraq. During the course, the participants reviewed in detail the eight WFME standards for international accreditation of postgraduate medical education and the mechanisms for applying them locally. The program also included workshops and hands-on activities aimed at preparing practical frameworks for implementing these standards at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, and adapting the standards in a way that contributes to fulfilling the requirements for international postgraduate accreditation. Dr. Amal Al-Tarawneh, the program representative in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, commended the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, for its high level of compliance and application of international accreditation standards.
